Really good dental practice, my dentist is amazing.
Really bad. They do not answer phones. Dentists are not good.
Avoid, the dentist I saw tried to charge me for unnecessary treatment without even telling me. The receptionists are extremely unhelpful and make you feel like you are doing them a favour. The worst dentist I have experienced in my life!
The staff are friendly enough although you do feel you are putting them out in reception, bookings are a struggle and then there is my current situation! I recently knocked a cap off my front tooth (second one in 5 years) and requested a replacement, it was insisted I have a crown instead taking the price from 50+ to 244.I had the mould and prep done with a temporary tooth while I wait basically 3 weeks for the crown to be fitted. Within hours the tooth came off leaving a huge gap, I called Oasis and was told I had to be placed with another dentist because mine was on holiday and I had to pay emergency charge 20!!!Clearly the cap was not fit for purpose in the first place so !!!Then 10 hours following the second replacement it then fell out in my drink!!!I told the practice and the best they could offer was a few days prior to my crown appointment.So basically I have to go to work in a customer facing environment with a tooth missing from the front which for me has a serious affect on my confidence as I suffer with low self esteem and have to work hard to build up to things! I am forever biting my lips while I eat causing painful mouth ulcers and all in all deeply upset because I know full well if the Oasis did what I asked in the beginning I would be 150 better off and not suffering in the way I am currently!Not all Oasis practices are terrible, Northam House in Wells was fantastic and reluctantly I had to switch when I moved to Swindon. But this one really needs to look at how that branch operates.
