I have just stayed here for the night. Clean comfy room. Facilities fresh clean and modern. Very comfortable bed, stunning view from window. Lovely to wake up to bird song. Best part of the stay... Amazing well presented and prepared breakfast. Highly recommended.
Lovely building more than 200 years old with plenty of off street parking. The hosts are charming people, always helpful and engaging. Large rooms throughout with very high ceilings and an ornate staircase in the reception area. The bar, sitting and breakfast rooms are airy and comfortable. Room 10 was spacious and quiet, with a large shower and good water pressure with plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The view across town to the hills beyond was very calming after hours of travel. Breakfast range and taste, including cooked food and fresh fruit etc was exceptional. Location is close to many wonderful villages and towns in the district. A great place to stay, long or short.
We booked this as a last minute hotel close to Bath. I was not expecting much but it was clean and tidy and rooms had comfy beds. Breakfast was great, the building itself is beautiful as are the grounds. Audrey and family were really friendly. Couldn't rate this any higher was fab for a weekend away.
Breathtakingly beautiful hotel, set among fabulous grounds. The owners where attentive (not overly so) and friendly. My room was pristine and comfortable. I look forward to coming back!!
It's a real shame the hotel have stopped serving food to non residents and upon calling today they said they no longer have pumps on the bar so we can't stop by for a drink either. For a hotel in the heart of Trowbridge it would be great if you could change your mind We recently moved to the area and were looking forward to trying your steaks that had been recommended to us.
