Really nice place to relax in the summer and place comes to life on the weekends with town events like armed forces day and party in the park.
Beautiful park, lots of running room. It has the park caf and the market caf. Safe play place for children to play.
Lovely large space, which, living a few minutes away from, I make lots of use off.Lots of facilities, a large play area with equipment for children. New modern tennis and basketball courts, bowling green and crazy golf. Exercise equipment for adults and older children is dotted around on a circuit round the park. Band stand and toilets. The kiosk serves drinks and snacks. The crazy golf could do with a little updating.I'm slightly wary to walk through here in the dark in my own.
Clean pleasant park. Decent play area for the kids, pretty duck/swan area. Didnt use other facilities such as mini golf or tennis. Could have a game of soccer as park is big enough. Great short cut from where I was staying to town. Great place to relax and read a book. Does connect to other walk ways
The park is pretty good, plenty of space to have a picnic, feed the ducks, walk your dog or play football. However you have to pay to go into the courts and I wish it was free because then there would be more to do in holiday and term times. The fair comes now and then which is pretty good, normally 2 pound a ride. I recommend looking at the ducks, they are very cute :)
